RSLogix Emulate 5000 is a software product that emulates the behavior of ControlLogix controllers. The emulator allows you to experiment with and debug your Logix5000 programs in a safe, controlled environment without investing in physical controllers and I/O modules. Additionally, RSLogix Emulate 5000 allows you to test your HMI applications without using a real controller.
The Chassis Monitor tool allows you to create, delete, monitor, and configure emulator modules in a virtual chassis.
From the Chassis Monitor, you can also change the emulator's mode and view its status. Once you create and configure emulators, you can view status information for them by looking at the simulated LEDs on your screen. These LEDs reflect the status of the emulators.
